Introduction: How To: Construct Your Very Own Universe

This instructable is a quick exercise to get you started in the business of universe construction.

Required supplies:

- time (s)

- space (m)

Step 1: Define Space-Time

First you will need to define the relationship between space and time with one simple equation:

time cubed (s^3) = space to the fourth power (m^4)

Now combine your time and your space according to the relationship defined in the equation.

Why is this relationship important?

If you ignore our equation and combine time and space as equal to one another (s = m), your space-time just sits there.

If you combine time and space in accordance with our equation, your space-time is not stagnant but flowing at a constant rate.

This natural flow is the quality which will allow you to construct all the components required to create a successful universe.

Step 2: Begin Construction

We observe a relative mass in our universe as a volume of space (m^3) at a point in time (s):

m^3 / s

Warp a portion of your space-time according to the ratio above to create mass in your universe.

A vital quality of your space-time is that, despite your tinkering, the relationship between time and space cannot be altered.

Our equation from step one is upheld with a temporal effect to balance the changes made in relative space:

If s^3 = m^4 then m^3 / s = s^2 / m.

What is s^2 / m? There you have the temporal effect gravity, a force upon what some physicists refer to as the ‘fabric of time’ at a point in space by a relative mass.

Step 3: Assemble the Elements

A star is the best tool in our universe for producing elements.

You will need hydrogen atoms for fuel each made up of a proton and an electron (ignore the other subatomic particles for now).

Why protons and electrons?

Their mass defines them. The opposing orientations of the two particles are a direct result of their specific mass and the relationship between space and time within your space-time. The forceful intent of space-time to flow is what draws these particles of opposing orientation together to assemble an atom.

Back to the task at hand.

Warp a portion of your space-time into a cloud of protons and another portion into a cloud of electrons and mix it all together.

Now because we’ve mimicked the design and processes of our universe you can let that same nature take its course in your universe. Let gravity squish all that hydrogen together and since it’s your universe, rather than wait the eons required, feel free to skip ahead …

compression …

fusion …

collapse …

explosion …

and just like that, all the elements you need to build whatever it is you like.

... but why is it so bright all of a sudden?

Step 4: Understanding Energy

When the first two atoms of hydrogen within your star fused to form helium, energy was released.

What is energy defined in terms of your warped space-time?

Energy IS space (m) in a relative sense. Here it is written out:

m = s^3 / m^3

Energy is a shockwave through space caused by the expansion of space as it is released from its compressed state within a mass; a wave made up of space and traveling across space in the same way a wave in a pond is made up of water and traveling across water.

The temporal effect of the release of energy? There you have the particle form of the wave as a volume of time (s^3) through a volume of space (m^3).

Step 5: The Spark of Life

Twinkling stars and muddy planets are fine, but you need power to create life.

The angular velocity of spinning protons, the flow at the magnetic moment of an electron, the constant velocity of your flowing space-time defines power.

Here is the equation (velocity, wattage):

m / s = s^2 / m^3

You can establish a current, the lifeblood of any nervous system, by using the flow of your space-time as a force against itself.

Take some of the copper you made with your first star and put together a simple circuit. Use the force of flowing space-time to move relative charged particles within your circuit against their own natural flow. You will see that as you force charged particles to move (the volumes of space and time creating resistance against this unnatural shift) space-time will displace the space around your circuit in proportion to the force applied in order to return the flow within the circuit to normalcy.

A current can be maintained against the self correcting action of space-time by implementing mechanisms which exert a constant force on the charged particles within a circuit.

The intricate organization of mechanism amidst a complex carbon lattice are the inklings of life on the grandest scale.

The space-time equation for current (amps) - just as gravity is to acceleration - is the inverse of relative power (watts):

s / m = m^3 / s^2

Step 6: Moving Forward

There are some limitations to your design.

For example: energy travels at a fixed speed as a timeless wave in relative space. Mass, with a universe of force behind it, can do nothing to match that speed as it is held back by the suspending force of its own gravity clinging to the fabric of time. The top speed of both mass and energy in your universe are limited by the velocity of your flowing space-time.

Do not be discouraged by your limitations - boundaries define the greatness of a structure and limits birth creativity from necessity.

Step 7: Further Experimentation and Exploration

Remember - you have used the building blocks of our universe as a pattern for your own, so you can apply all the knowledge gathered together by so many brilliant scientists and engineers to enrich and enhance your design.

Feel free to copy and paste your favorite parts of our universe to your own, plants and animals and quasars etc.
