Step 2: Materials

- Crochet Hook (D3)

- Yarn (sport weight yarn)

-Scissors

- Tapestry needle

Step 3: Gauge

To make a 2 inch flower, using the single crochet stitch, you can make a 2 inch square, and if at the end you have 9 rows, with 9 stitches each, then you are using the right hook and yarn.

2 inch = 9 stitches
For this example, i used a sport weight yarn and a D3 hook.

Step 4: Chart

To make the flower's center, in a magic ring we are gonna work:

- 6 chain stitches, a Double Crochet, 2 chain stitches and we are gonna repeat this pattern 5 more times.

Remember, the pattern is a Double Crochet and 2 chain stitches.

To finish the round, work a slip stitch in the fourth chain that we worked at the beginning of the round.

To make the first petal:

- Work a slip stitch in the nearest two-chain space, work 2 chain stitches, a Double Crochet, a Half Treble Crochet, a Double Crochet, 2 chain stitches and finish with a slip stitch in the same two-chain space.

Now repeat this pattern in all the spaces of two chains.

Step 5: Phototutorial - Step 01: Flower's Center (I)

To begin with the center of the flower, we must have already a Magic Ring, which is a basic crochet technique whose Instructable is HERE.

Once that we have ready the magic ring, we must work 6 chain stitches.

To work a chain stitch: yarn over and pull the hook through the loop that was already on it. Now repeat it 4 more times.

Step 6: Phototutorial - Step 01: Flower's Center (II)

Once that we have finished the 6 chain stitches, we are going to work a Double Crochet.

To make it: yarn over and pass the hook through the ring, yarn over again, pull the hook and you must have 3 loops on it. Yarn over and pull the hook through the first two loops, yarn over one last time and pull the hook through the last two loops on it.

Step 7: Phototutorial - Step 01: Flower's Center (III)

Now, work 2 chain stitches.

And repeat this pattern in 5 more times.

Remember, the pattern is a Double Crochet and 2 chain stitches.

Step 8: Phototutorial - Step 01: Flower's Center (IV)

To finish the first round, work a slip stitch in the fourth chain that we worked at the beginning of it.

Step 9: Phototutorial - Step 02: Flower's Petals (I)

To begin with the second round, we are gonna find the nearest two-chain space, and in it, we are going to work a slip stitch, two chain stitches and a Double Crochet.

Step 10: Phototutorial - Step 02: Flower's Petals (II)

Right after make a Half Treble Crochet.

To make it: yarn over twice and pass the hook through the two-chain space, yarn over, pull the hook and you must have 4 loops on it. Yarn over and pull the hook through the first two loops, yarn over one last time and pull the hook through the 3 loops on it.

Step 11: Phototutorial - Step 02: Flower's Petals (III)

Now, work again a Double Crochet, two chain stitches and finish with a slip stitch in the same chain-two space.

Now repeat this pattern in all the spaces of two chains.

Step 12: Phototutorial - Step 02: Flower's Petals (IV)

To finish, close the magic ring and finish off.
