If you're trying to get in shape, you might need to eat less. With portion sizes getting bigger and bigger, this is becoming more difficult.

Here are a few simple tips to help you cut your food intake so you can get in shape.

Step 1: Eat Slower

Your mind doesn't realise your full straight away. If you eat slowly, it'll actually limit the total amount you can eat. Go slowly and enjoy your food - it's better for you.

Step 2: Use Chopsticks

Chopsticks are a great way to slow a meal down. Start really enjoying your food by eating with chopsticks.

Step 3: Eat Fruit

Snacking on fruit like apples can be a great idea, too. Apples make you feel full and suppress your appetite. And they're good for you, too!

Step 4: Count Your Calories

So you know when to stop, count the calories you consume.
