i've had Unlocker for a while, it doesnt work on every file you try, sometimes it asks you if you want to delete the file on next reboot, sometimes it says no locking handle found, but it works OK for me. Problem is, the files that are deleted do not get sent to the Recycle bin. Is there a way to fix that?

this wont delete any file.
go to limewire, download some porn, you will hit some file wich dont have a delete button on them. you press right click on the file, there is no delete file option!
to delete such file, go to DOS or open a COMMAND PROMPT, go to the folder where you have this file, and type del <the file name>
here a exemple:

And congrats, that's KDE running on (presumably) Linux or BSD. Did you miss that fact or did you just post it without looking? And for those files that you can't delete, get/make yourself a nice rescue disk, comes in handy quite a bit.
