I show a simple trick to easily remove potato skins. Instead of using a peeler I use a sharp knife to score the potato around its center. Then the potato is placed in boiling water until it is cooked. The potato is then placed into a bowl of cold water for a few seconds so it is cool to touch. Then the potatoes skin can be easily pulled from the center removing all the skin from the potato in 2 pieces.

<p>I think You would do the same thing in much less time and You will save a lot of water and energy by just peeling them with this</p>
<p>Not if your going to boil them anyways... The whole point of this 'able is to NOT use a peeler. It's a simple hack, take it or leave it. I do this with sweet potatoes when preparing them for Thanksgiving. It works great!</p>
