Introduction: How to Export & Print Contacts on IPhone

The iPhone now act kind of a contacts book for us, saving hundreds of names and phone numbers in digital format. Due to accidental deletion, system crash, iOS upgrade and other reasons, we can just as easily lose the digital contacts on our iPhone. It will drive you crazy if hundreds of detailed contacts on iPhone are lost. So a vast multitude of iPhone users may want to export and print the contacts in case such situations occur. However, some of them may have no idea on how to print contacts on their iPhone. To ease your mind, a few ways will be introduced below to safeguard your contact list.

Method 1: Make use of iTunes syncing

Syncing is the only option available on Tunes Contacts tab. It is possible to print a contact list in a user-friendly, organized format.

1.Launch iTunes and connect your iPhone to the computer.

2.Click on info tap on the left side and check mark beside "Contacts With". Select "Windows Contact" and select a contact group if desired, then click "Sync".

3. Click "Start" and then click your user name. Double click "Contacts" folder to open it. Click the little arrow to the right of "Share with" , then tap "Export".

4. Choose "CSV" and click" Export". Select a target folder to save the CSV file and select the iPhone contacts field you want, then click "Finish". A dialogue will appear saying you have successfully export contacts from iPhone.

5.Open the CSV file and print out the detailed contacts.

Method 2: Export contacts from iCloud

Using iCloud to manage your contacts may be the most straightforward way to go. If you have synced contacts with iCloud, you can export your contacts from iCloud easily.

  • Sign in to iCloud and click on "Contacts", hit "Control + A" to select all the contacts.
  • Then, click on the gear icon in the lower left corner and select "Export vCard". Select a location to save the vcf file.
  • Open the vCard in Outlook and export it into a csv format, then open the csv file in Excel and print the contacts.

Method 3: Use Jihosoft iPhone Data Recovery
