Nobody ever seems to mention kicks. Albeit a poorly placed kick can be the difference between standing and lying on your ass, a properly placed kick to the chin, nuts, even knees can end the fight right then and there. Not to mention that your legs are twice as long as your arms.
Never use any guide On the Internet as your only source on how to fight. You need to be taught in person so you can be taught by a qualified teacher who can see what your doing and whether your doing it right or wrong
ok, let me reply myself you have some some tips I'd prefer to use.. like you don't wanna go to the ground, keep moving, and so on
but still, you gotta work on your techniques. like the footwork, i can see you have kind of a struggle sometimes when performing. experienced persons, like me, can take you with such things.... just be more carefull with that, remember: a person is like a piramide, but upside down, cut the legs, and there they go.
to get started, place your feet just like your on a skateboard a 90degree angle with your front foot pointing to your opponent...
now, bend your knees slightly this prevent breaking the knee when getting kicked on the leg. a broken knee will never recover properly and will never be able to bend like it could before.
this is a good tutorial though! im not here to show-off just giving you guys a tip!!
Nice advice! I can usually talk my way out of situations but this scenario just freaks me out. I liked the 'bodyshield' bit towards the end - maybe some additional text hints could help but I've rated this 5/5 - awesome
thanks dude now i can add more stuff to my fighting combo but personaly you guys could taunt the strongest of both tough guys into one on one if the other dosobeys it could trigger a fight amongust allies it could result in an avantage this might not work ive onley gotten into one fight ever havent ever had a real fight yet but take that info into consideration
There are a few things I feel I should point out. First of all, the Key only works if you can throw a punch in the first place. If you can throw a punch, then the key is helpful, but not needed. Don't rely on it. Also, don't just throw your attackers around. Instead of shoving an attacker out of the way, catch their arm when they strike by moving slightly to the outside, with your trailing hand up at 90 degrees, and pull their arm into your chest. Quickly smash your forearm into your opponent's elbow, and it's now a one-on-one fight. There is some good advice in there, though, like how you need to keep moving, and to keep the opponents lined up rather than in a circle.
Not really instructional at all. Stay moving was the only relevant thing. "Don't go to the ground" is not the best tip either. Depending on your skills, going to the ground could be your best option.
you don't want to go to the ground in a group fight ever! Only in a one-on one match with legal restrictions. You never know if the guy has friends or shanky weapons! Don't believe the hype.
Exactly right, 8bit. The previous poster's advice is...not good. Another consideration is the presence of wives / girlfriends. Females instinctively "clamp on" to their husbands / boyfriends when they sense physical danger -- exactly what you don't want. Best to talk this out beforehand and agree on a strategy. My wife knows to stand back and put me in front. Her job to to escape ASAP and get help. Good video that demonstrates sound principles of street self-defence.
Ok i was also thinking getting the attackers in each others way.It will help. But yea dont go to ground if possible.I personally arent good on the ground. But if you can do cross training in martial arts it will help alot.
NEVER use the key like that you'll slice your hand all the way to your wrist. Instead make a "thumbs up sign," put the key on top of your index finger and press down on it with your thumb
Okay, me, being the guy who never fights back (currently in high school), then of course people can attempt to take advantage of me. One bad place to be is in the locker rooms where there is a row of lockers and only one way out of that row, which is being blocked. If you see a group of guys coming, and you can open your locker quickly (this is all assuming that your lock comes off of the locker), then take the lock off, and put the metal ring around your middle finger and act like you are ready for a fight. It is like getting hit with iron knuckles. Usually this will just diffuse the situation. If you have a can of Axe or Tag spray in your backpack, you can use that to blind them (Tag Wildcard smells terrible, and it will 'tag' their clothing so you can report them and prove they attacked you because of the smell [if they dont use it themselves and you are sure you are the only one who has it]). If you are a guy and you kick someone in the balls...it gives one hell of a laugh wether they are your friend or enemy. *falls to the floor in fetal position grabbing nuts and swearing* ~Babygrizzy
around 1:41 there you were in a position where you were tied up (kinda looked like huggin lol) but anyways, in wrestling we learned that you shouldnt have had your hands on the outside, get them inside and you can open him up and shoot on his legs and take him down. (or since this is street fighting you can get a good nutshot on him too)
BUT WHAT ABOUT SKILLED PERSONS?!
a good tip is to start looking videos from pro's at youtube.
