How to Get Good Grades

Step 10Adding It All Up

So now that you know how to spot and identify your teacher's personality type, serve her a little by asking questions, avoid her pet peeves, take classes you like, memorize like a crazy person, and develop a photographic memory, you'll be well on your way to making good grades. I emphasize again that when you are getting to know your teachers, you must not be fake in any way. These people were all your age once, they all have things that interest them, and they could potentially be a great friend.

Treating them as a potential friend will almost invariably make them a friend, and who has too many friends in this world? So spread goodwill, get good grades, and tackle that awesome job you want.

You can do it!

I hope you find the techniques in this instructable rewarding.

Happy schooling!

This is an excellent instructable, I teach at college in Ireland and can relate to everything you say, this is excellent advice for any student, sadly too many students havent a clue about how to get the lecturer on side. And that is so important, there will always be times when due to family stuff or presonal issues you cant make deadlines, or things slip, its times like that you need your lecturers onside, its not so much creating a bias towards you as humanising yourself to the lecturer. I would add to your advice a couple of things. For learning good nutrition is vital, avoid soda, candy all the sugary stuff as it causes fast highs and big slumps, you need sustained energy release from things like wholefoods, unrefined carbs etc, lots of B vitamins and fatty acids from oils fish, when working on a knotty problem that you cant find a solution too, often the best thing is to leave it, step away, go for a run or a walk dont think about the problem, just let it cook in the back of your brain and it becomes a lot easier when you get back. Well done on this instructable
