Your dog will continue to get fleas every time it leaves your property, or every time it steps outside the house unless you kill the ones breeding in the yard. Every time a feral cat crosses your yard at night, it's gonna leave more fleas. And what about the ones breeding in your rugs or furniture?
How often are you gonna shampoo your dog? Daily? Every other day?
We give our dogs Confortis, which seems expensive until you realize you don't have to spray or bomb the house, or spread granules in the yard, or spray/dip/shampoo the dog again and again and again.
I do not work for nor am I connected to the co. that makes Confortis.
And yes, I know it'll only temorarily kill the fleas. But temporarily is better than nothing at all. But thanks for your feedback.
PS.. I'm not stupid. I may be only 12, but I know bathing my dogs every dang day is not the smartest thing. It's winter, smart one. They are old and have thin fur. I''m sure they'd freeze to death if they don't get ripped of their natural body oils first.
Have you actually tried this?
