Are you just content. Do you dream of more from your life?

Step 1: What you need.

Things you will need -

Ambition and drive = 5%

A computer with internet access = 20%

A non sucky resume = 10%

Believe in yourself = 65%

Yes I am serious! This is all you need to make at least 20% more than what you are currently making. Companies make even more money by undervaluing their employees. These companies use unethical tactics to scare employees to stay and work for less.

Step 2: Find a computer

Your local library will do. Its free! Meet smart people around you! see below.

If you have your own computer and a couple bucks, go to a local coffee shop. Skip Starbucks and find a col local place. this can help you network and meet new people that might now of job opportunities. While working on your resume, keep your ears and eyes open for like minded people. meeting new people is hard, but one of the best ways to find an entry into a new job.

Step 3: Build your resume

One page!!!!!!! find a way to put all the important stuff on a single page. The people looking at it dont want to read a novel while they are at work. Get to the point. Let them know what your skills are. Use acronyms and key words used in your industry.

Get clever! Use linkedin to find other people in similar positions. Study the words they use. Use their past positions to consider other job opportunities. Use a thesaurus.

School can count for a lot. If you have no industry experience don't worry. Find ways to use school projects that show your skills. A capstone project for example, can show you are fully capable.

NO SCHOOL? Don't worry! Use your life and industry experience to show that you are fully capable. Use google and the internet as much as you can. Take time to fully research whatever position you are going for. Make yourself an expert.

Step 4: Start applying

use all social media websites to look for open positions in your field.

look for new positions in other areas that can utilize your unique skills. Yes,your skills are very unique! You can defiantly do something better than most, you just need to find out what that is.

Use recruiters. Look online for recruiters in your industry. These people can help you, and have motivation to do so. They get paid by the company that hires you.

Use Linkedin. Build a profile and start searching for careers.

Step 5: Track your progress

Use an excel spread sheet to track your applications. use the attached file as a template. apply to at least 4 places a day. If you feel crappy that day, then at least do 1. mark who you have interviews with and who denied you. Use this to help tweak your resume. If you are not getting responses, change something! If you fallow these exact steps, I promise you will see results.

Step 6: Believe in yourself

The most important thing is that you believe in your own worth. Most of us have been undervalued by the people around us our whole lives. Be confident in the things that you know you are good at. Make sure you are willing to learn in any position that you are in. Even if your current position sucks, I am sure you can find a way to make it a beneficial stepping stone towards your next big move. Good luck, and make sure you comment with your success stories!

I want also to add that any student need to check every job seeking websites and platforms. I applied for my job with the help of http://nelest.com/ and my interview went good. I know that it is hard to find a good job after college but it is possible.
