Dude, you had me on "The main thing about the piano is Chords and how to make a good sound you can sing on top of" (something like that). That's like playing guitar chords and saying "I can pleh teh guitar!" That's NOT playing, and that mentality just makes me SICK. So you think it is a mistake to at least know how to play the real deal. Well, too bad for you, but don't come to online places filled with people who want to start learning and tell them "Don't learn how to play the piano. Learn how to play chords! Cause the piano sucks, it's just so someone can sing on top of it!!" I'm sorry if I was, at all, rude. That was not my intention. It just really strikes me the way some people diminish Music to "just chords". Oh, it's so much more than that. Music is art. It's love, it's hate, it's joy, it's despair, it's our soul written in a paper, for god's sake!!!. Don't just come here and say "Toh, miusic be teh cords. lollololollol" Have a cheerful day. :)
