Hi Guys :) This is a simple way of making a Hovercraft using household items.

What You Need:

1. Balloons
2. A squirt bottle cap
3. A used or empty CD
4. Super Glue

Step 1:

Step 1:

Super Glue the bottle cap onto the empty CD so that it covers the hole of the CD.

Note: It is necessary that the bottle cap is like the one above. This experiment won’t work otherwise.

Step 2:

Step 2:

Blow into a balloon and hold the end tightly. This will not allow any air to escape. Attach the balloon’s end to the bottle cap stuck onto the CD. Make sure the bottle cap is closed when this is being done.

Step 3:

Step 3:

Place the hovercraft on a smooth surface, and open the cap so that air is blown out of the balloon and onto the surface below the CD. This creates a cushion of air which enables the hovercraft to move around without any force having to be applied. As soon as the air in the balloon is all used up, the hovercraft will stop moving. Watch the video on the given link to see the working hovercraft.
