How to Make Animated Led Sign Board

Hello everyone,

This is akash from how to bro youtube channel....

I will show you how you can make a simple animated led sign board at home easily......

Before enter the project first watch the video.....

Step 1: Design& Order the Pcb

In this project I make the pcb using easyeda tool.....

& order the pcb on jlcpcb.com

they provide good quality pcb at very cheap prices.....

I order the yellow colour pcb.....but they provide 10 green colour of pcb under $2 at first order.....

This is the cheapest deal anyone can get....

To order the pcb first open jlcpcb.com....

then click on layers according to your choice....& then upload your gerber file...

Choose your quantity ,colour etc.... & pay your order....

Step 2: Components Required

Here I use 5 channel.....but you can use upto 12 channel according to your requirement.....

Components list......

1. Leds

2. 22pf capacitor*2

3. arduino uno

4. 5v power supply...you can use your mobile charger

5. wires for led soldering

6. bd139 transistor*5...you can use any npn transistor

7. 16mhz crystal

8. vero board for name making

9. 1k resistor*5

10. 10k resistor

11. 28 pin ic base (optional)

Tools....

1. Soldering iron with flux

2. wire cutter

3. electrical tape

Step 3: Arduino Programming

Connect the programming cable to arduino & connect it to you pc or laptop.....

Next open the arduino Ide ....then copy the program & paste it to arduino ide..

Make sure the board is selected on arduino uno model

Now upload the code & disconnect the cable after the uploading.....

Step 4: Connect All the Components

Now connect all the components to the pcb & solder it carefully......

Step 5: Build You Led Sign

Connect all the leds in a manner,so will look like a word......

Remember all the leds will be connect in parallel connection......

Step 6: Connect the Power Supply

Now connect your 5v power supply to the board....

You can use any kind of power supply according to your choice.....

N:b> If you face any power issue, in that case use a 1000uf capcitor across the power supply it will help to filter the power input to the board....

Step 7: You Are Done

Now you are ready to go.....

You can use it to anywhere....

Also you can modify the whole setup according to your need...
