It is a technique we call Interlocking T-Bolt Construction. It consists of a T-cutout in one piece of acrylic (or any 3 mm stock) and a receptacle in another piece. These pieces can then be bolted together making a very secure 90 degree joint. A deceptively simple technique that has unlimited possibilities.
All that is required is an idea, some drawing software, and access to a laser cutter.
Lets get started.

a note on metric units
it should be noted that throughout we refer to 3mm thick acrylic. This is often sold as 1/8" acrylic and is not a big issue as the difference is less than 0.007".

This messages is not just for you jam, and I don't say you don't use linux. This message is for you and everyone on top of you.
But I'm patient. I've every confidence that like all closed source commercial software it'll go away eventually. It is the nature of things. How is that software that you bought for XP working on Windows 7 for you? Ha ha! Can your new Windows OS use all of your old hardware even? Ha ha!
I bet if he was alive now P. T. Barnum would be on the Microsoft board of directors.
“There's a sucker born every minute.”
“Nobody ever lost a dollar by underestimating the taste of the American public.”
“Never give a sucker an even break.”
He seemed to hold their philosophy close to heart.
I personally use windows but that doesn't mean I love it...
I basically don't have much of a choice because of the things I want to do with my computer (mainly gaming).
Sure, the games might run on a mac or linux using weird programs to allow one of those to run windows files... But face it, it's going to run better on windows because it's made for windows.
So yeah, I use windows and I complain about it... big deal!
But this could apply to almost every comment here.. I did not say that to sound bad or angry, you know..
Followed closely by his other famous quote, "Only wimps use tape backup: real men just upload their important stuff on ftp, and let the rest of the world mirror it ."
I rather like this one myself, "Really, I'm not out to destroy Microsoft. That will just be a completely unintentional side effect. "
This one is good too, "A computer is like air conditioning: it becomes useless when you open Windows."
