Introduction: How to Make Cheesecake

Cheesecake is a delicious dessert that has been popular for a long time in ancient Greece. It is made with fresh cheese usually on a crust made from biscuits. The method of making a cheesecake may be varied; in general, cheesecake may be baked or unbaked. In these instructions, I will show you how to home bake a cheesecake in just a few simple steps. Using these instructions, you do not need to have a perfect baking ability. The process of making a cheesecake will take about three hours. After the cheesecake is baked, you can flavor the it with caramel, topped with some fruit, nuts, or chocolate.

Step 1: Gather All the Needed Ingredients.

Ingredients:

Base
Ready Crust

Filling
16 oz cream cheese
1 cup sugar
4 large eggs
3 oz yogurt
1 cup milk
3 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoons vanilla extract

Tools:
Mixer
Mixing bowl

Step 2: All Above Ingredients Should Be at Room Temperature and Preheat the Oven.

1. Take all of the ingredients out form the refrigerator and leave them until they are at room temperature.

Note: This step will cost about 20-30 minutes, make sure to put ingredient out earlier.

2. Preheat the oven at 325 degree F.

Step 3: Start by Beating Cream Cheese and Sugar

1. Beat the cream cheese until light and fluffy. It will take about 5-7 minutes.

Note: Keep the mixer on a low setting throughout the beating and mixing process; so that, the cream cheese will be smoother and fluffy.

2. Add the sugar a little at a time and continue beating. (This step would take about 4-5 minute)

Note: Add sugar about 2 tablespoon at a time and keep beating until the entire ingredient mixed creamy.

Tip: In this step, if you prefer the cheesecake be sweeter, then you can add half cups more sugar when mixing, or you can cut down the use of sugar to half cup to decrease the calories.

Step 4: Mix All the Ingredients Together

Note: From this step, your cream cheese mixed will look more wet and smoother.

Tip: It will take some time for mixing all the ingredients. To decrease the using of time on mixing, try to using the mixer mix the ingredients clockwise or counterclockwise.

1. Add one egg at a time and beat after each egg, until all the eggs have been mixed into the cream cheese.

2. Add flour and vanilla extract into cream cheese and mix them well.

Tip: You can try to add some lemon juice (about 2 teaspoons) to make cheesecake taste more smooth and smell fresh.

3. Put yogurt and milk into the mix bowl, and mix them well together.

Note:  In this recipe, I use yogurt, instead of sour cream because yogurt is cheaper and easy to find at home. In this step, you can replace yogurt by sour cream. Sour cream may let the cheesecake taste different, but also delicious.

Step 5: Pour Cream Cheese Into the Ready Crust.

Pure cream cheese mix into the ready crust.

Tip: After filling the ready crust, you can wait about 10 minutes to let the bubbles disappear because it helps the cheesecake taste smoother.

Step 6: Place on the Top Rack in the Middle of a 325 Degrees Oven for One Hour.

Place the cheesecake into the oven and bake it for about one hour.

Note: Be careful when putting the cheesecake into the oven because the oven is heated to 325 degrees.

Step 7: Stay Cheesecake at Oven for One Hour and Cool the Cheesecake

1. Keep the cheesecake staying in the oven for one hour, and then remove from the oven.

Note: The cheesecake should stay in oven about one hour to let the cheesecake taste more smooth, so do not take out the cheesecake from the oven directly after one hour baking.

2. Put the cheesecake into the refrigerator for 8 hours.

Tip: To prevent the crack on the top of the cheesecake, it is better to leave the cheesecake out of the oven for about 20 minutes until it is at room temperature, and then put it into the refrigerator.

Step 8: Enjoy Your Cheesecake!

It is not hard to make your own cheesecake. Making your own cheesecake makes you live healthier because you can control the calories you eat.
After 8 hours of cooling, now you can enjoy your delicious cheesecake!

Tip: In this step, you can simply taste the cheesecake in the original flavor, or you can flavor by topping with some caramel, fruit, nuts, or chocolate.
