Now bear with me here: Turmeric tea is crazy delicious, and guess what... It's also crazy good for you.
Turmeric is a hugely underrated spice that goes beyond just helping to color curry.
Yellow in flavor, it packs in enough health benefits to cover a whole food group: It's been proven to improve liver function, cleanse your blood, reduce bad cholesterol, and improve skin complexion.
Here's what you need to make this super healthy superdrink...
- 1/2 Cup Coconut Milk
- 1 tsp Raw Honey
- 1 Pinch Black Pepper
- Hot Water
- 1 tsp Ground Turmeric Powder
Step 1: Prepare Your Ingredients
We recommend coconut milk for the greatest health impact, but in truth regular milk is perfectly fine! You can even try almond milk too.
As for honey, I use raw honey but, again, regular honey is a fine substitute.
Once you have assembled all of your ingredients, boil a kettle of water.
Step 2: Mix Everything Together
I wish I could write a big elaborate method for assembling this drink, but it really is a case of throwing everything together in a mug.
Once mixed together, let it cool for a couple of minutes... and enjoy!
