How to Make Earrings Out of Bottlecaps

Step 3Adding the Wire and Earring Parts

Adding the Wire and Earring Parts
Take out some 20 gauge silver wire and cut off two even pieces.

Put one end of a piece of wire through the loop of an earring piece so that one side is longer than the other.

Cross the wire over each other under the loop of the earring piece.

Take the wire and loop it through the earring piece one more time to hold it in place.

Thread the shorter end through one of your bottlecaps and twist the end of the wire up into the spiral. Repeat to the other end of the wire, and you're done with the first earring!

Finish the second one, and you have a pair of trash-turned-treasure earrings!

Wire should be cut with wire cutters - safer and neater.
