Introduction: How to Make Marshmallow Delight

Marshmallow Delight is often a favorite treat of mine that I used to have as a kid, with all of its chocolatey goodness.  It tastes similar to that of a Reese's cup with marshmallows inside it with a butterscotch  drizzle.  So today my little sister will be teaching you how to make this delightful recipe.  It is a very simple recipe consisting of very few ingredients and it takes about 15 minutes to make.

Step 1: Step 1: Materials

You will need:
2 cups of semi sweet chocolate chips
1 cup of peanut butter
4-5 cups of large marshmallows or a package of miniature marshmallows
Small amount of butter (to grease pan)
1/4 cup of butterscotch chips
2 pots to melt chocolate (1 for mixture, 1 for drizzle)
Measuring cups
A pan to cook it in
A spatula
Milk (if needed)

Step 2: Step 2: Preparation

Butter your pan ahead of time because this is a very fast and quick recipe.  You can also measure all that you will need ahead of time according to the materials list.

Step 3: Step 3: Melt the Chocolate Chips

You will add 2 cups of semi sweet chocolate chips to a pot to begin melting.  Then place the stove on medium heat and stir occasionally.

Step 4: Step 4: Peanut Butter Time

Measure out 1 cup of peanut butter.  This will be added to the pot with the chocolate when it has melted a bit.  You will be using the same pot for all of the melting.  This will create a mixture and give it a solid like texture after the cooling.

Step 5: Step 5: Marshmallows

You will now begin adding the main part of this recipe.  Measure out your marshmallows according to the materials list with the option you have chosen.  I used the small pack of miniature marshmallows because I find it spreads the marshmallows out more, however either one will do.  After you have measured your marshmallows you will add them to the melting pot.  Allow them melt a little so they can mix in.

Step 6: Step 6: Pour in Pan

Take your mixture of peanut butter, marshmallows and chocolate off of the stove top.  You will then begin pouring into your greased pan.  Take a spatula and smooth it all out.

Step 7: Step 7: the Final Touch

Take your 1/4 cup of butterscotch chips and begin melting them in a separate pot.  These will be melted until they are a liquid, then drizzled over your pan with the mixture inside of it using a spoon.  If they are not creamy enough on the stove add a very little amount of milk.  This final step however can be altered to fit your own personal tastes.  Any kind of topping you would want on this can be drizzled or added on.

Step 8: Step 8: Cooling

You will now place the pan with everything in it inside of the fridge.  This will take about 20 minutes to cool or until set.

Step 9: Step 9: Snack Time

You may now cut it up however you wish and prepare to snack.  I hope you enjoyed this delicious tutorial.
