Hello Everyone...I use 4 lbs crushed corn, 10 lbs sugar, 1 lb of malt extract and 1/2 package of super yeast and 5 gallons of water. Mash is ready in just 5 days. I have a homemade still that is super easy to make and this produces 1 1/2 gallons of moonshine (fuel). If you'd like photos and instructions on how to make this still just e-mail me. Fuel produced is 190 proof!

ezrider- I am interested in making my own alcohol fuel for backpacking stoves. Most recipes call for a huge volume and I would only need a couple of gallons per year to run the stoves. Can you send me the recipe and still making plans? Thanks

Hello, looking for a low cost stove top design. You recipe sounds great too. I am ready to start my 1st batch and was considering just 10# sugar, 2.5 # corn meal, mayby some matled barley and brewers yeast. I guess you need to boil the water, disolve sugar, and cook the cornmeal for 30-60 minutes? Then cool and add the yeast?
