Introduction: How to Make Simple Audio Amplifier With Mosfet

Picture of How to Make Simple Audio Amplifier With Mosfet

An Audio amplifier is a device , which is a capable of strength the week signals to drive the speaker.

In this Instructable I will instruct you to make your own simple audio amplifier using MOSFET and less number of components. The Transistor I used is IRFZ44 which is a Mosfet.

Step 1: Components Required

Picture of Components Required

IRFZ44 Transistor - 1 [Banggood]

Speaker - 1 [Banggood]

100uF Capacitors - 1 [Banggood]

1K Resistors - 1 [Banggood]

Bread Board - 1 [Banggood]

3.5mm Audio Jack - 1 [Banggood]

Step 2: Watch Video First!

The video gives you all the information you need to build your own simple audio amplifier with MOSFET.

During the next steps however I will present you some additional information to make the project even more simpler.

Step 3: Circuiting

Here you can find the circuit on breadboard.

You can see my breadboard traces and it is easy to understand while making. Place all the components on the breadboard according to schematic.

Circuit is attached , you can download.

Step 4: You Made It !

I recently came into possession of a pair of 8 ohm 3-5 watt speakers. and I have two amps wired in parallel for stereo sound, and work extremely well

The IRFZ44 is rated up to 40W. It would be interesting to see someone with the math know how to calculate the watts of this project. made it! (author)2017-07-10

I made it, but it isn't as loud as I hoped. good sound quality though.

update, I had it wired incorrectly. works great
