How to Make a Chicken Costume
Cute little chicken costumes that work best with toddlers or babies. Be the envy of every mother or father who had to buy their kids costume off the rack.

Step 1Purchasing parts

For each costume you are planning to make you will need to purchase the following parts and have them on hand for your project.

1 white bodysuit/onesie with long sleeves in your child's size
1 white t-shirt 2 sizes larger than the onesie
1 white cotton pilots hat (can be found at www.hannaandersson.com)
1 pair yellow tights (can be found at www.welovecolors.com)
(5) 65 g white 6 foot long feather boas (ebay is the cheapest) 5 is best for a 2-3 yr old, if you are making one for a baby or younger child you will use less.
1 pair yellow heavy duty dishwashing gloves (XL works great for a size 9 toddler shoe, buy smaller sized gloves for smaller shoes)
1 pair of your child's shoes
1/4 yd red felt
1 bag fiberfill
needles
thread
scissors
hot glue gun and glue sticks

Chickens are so cute!!! until you've seen the dirty jobs episode... Throw a duck bill on those suckers and they'll be perfect!!!! (the duck is the favorite animal of this particular instructable-ite.)
