Introduction: How to Make a Grilled Cheese and Tomato Sandwich
This is one of my favorite summer time meals. It is extremely delicious and is very easy to make. The items needed to complete the task are:
- Frying Pan
- Sliced Cheese
Step 1: Obtain Necessary Ingredients
- For this step you need to go to the grocery store and buy the ingredients needed to make your sandwich. If you already have these ingredients get them from your refrigerator and pantry. Ingredients include:
- A package of cheese slices
- A loaf of sliced bread
- Tomatoes (Local tomatoes are best)
Step 2: Lay Out Your Ingredients
Lay out your ingredients on the table. This way you can view all of your ingredients and have everything in front of you.
Step 3: Prepare the Tomatoes
Prepare the tomatoes by washing and slicing them.
Step 4: Prepare Bread
Prepare the bread by taking it out of the package and putting it on a plate.
Step 5: Put Cheese on the Bread
Take two slices of cheese out of the package. After that, unwrap the cheese slices and put them on the bread.
Step 6: Construct the Sandwich
Put the tomato on top of the cheese. If desired you may add salt and pepper for added flavor.
Step 7: Turn on the Cooking Surface
Put your stove burner on medium low temperature.
Step 8: Add Butter and Place Frying Pan on the Stove
Before you put the sandwich in, add butter to the frying pan and place the frying pan on the stove. This will melt the butter.
Step 9: Cook the Sandwich
Put the sandwich in the frying pan. Cook the sandwich until both sides are lightly browned and the cheese is melted. This should take about four minutes per side.
Step 10: Remove and Enjoy
Once the sandwich is done, remove it from the frying pan. After that, put it on the plate and enjoy your meal.
