How to Make a Paper Plate Bunny

This will give you instructions on how to make a paper plate bunny with just a few materials needed

Step 1: Materials You Will Need

1. White paper plates (If you can’t find these you can paint the plate white)
2. Colored construction paper
3. Glue
4. Markers
5. Scissors

Step 2: Grab a Plate

Grab one paper plate

Step 3: The Nose

Use a brown marker to draw a nose in the center of the plate (noses may differ).

Step 4: The Eyes

Use a gray marker to draw two circles for the eyes.  Color in the eyes whatever color you want.

Step 5: The Mouth

Draw the mouth connected to the bottom of the nose in a W shape.

Step 6: Whiskers

Cut six thin pieces of construction paper (any color you want) about four inches long for the whiskers.

Step 7: Whiskers

 Apply three dots of glue on both sides of the nose and mouth vertically (up and down)

Step 8: Glueing the Whiskers

Attach the ends of the whiskers to each dot of glue

Step 9: Cut a Plate in Half

Grab another paper plate and cut it in half for the ears

Step 10: Fold a Piece of Paper

Take a sheet of red or pink construction paper and fold it in half hamburger style

Step 11: Cut a Circle Out

Cut about a four inch half circle in the folded part.  This will make a whole circle once unfolded.

Step 12: Cut the Circle in Half

Cut the circle you just made out of the construction paper in half.

Step 13: Glue Half Circles to Plate

Glue the half circles you just made to the inside of the half paper plates to finish the ears.

Step 14: Glue the Ears to the Plate

Flip the bunny over so you can’t see the face.  Apply glue to the ears then attach the ears with the round side facing in.

Step 15: Allow the Glue to Dry

 Let the glue dry for five minutes then your paper plate bunny is done!
