How to Make a Shrug and Skirt Set out of a Sweater

Step 1 Cut the Shrug out of the Sweater

This works best with a close-fitting, tightly-knit sweater!

Try on the sweater to get an idea of where you need to make your markings. Get out some tailor's chalk and draw some lines starting at the top front part of the collar and goes all the way around the back.

Once you've got your line drawn out, take out your scissors and cut along the line.
