It’s that time of year again. The snow is starting to fall, the temperature is getting colder, and it’s time for us to put up our Christmas trees.
Why not use this homemade Star of Bethlehem Christmas tree topper for your tree??

Step 1: Part List

This is all knex parts, so here is a list of the pieces it uses.
Also you need to use these colors for it to look like a star.

Connectors:
White 8 slot connectors: 24
Blue 7 slot connectors: 2
Purple 4 slot connectors: 2
Red 3 slot connectors: 2
Orange 2 slot acute angle connectors: 16
Black y connectors: 4
Gray 1 slot connectors: 16

Rods:
Yellow 5 inch rods: 40
White 1 inch rods: 16
Green 3/4 inch rods: 4


Now let's start building.

Step 2: Step 1

First off build eight of these. It's a white connector and two white rods.

Step 3: Step 2

Go and gather up these eight yellow rods. You'll need them later.

Step 4: Step 3

First build these parts. Don't forget the two black Y connectors on one of the pieces.

Step 5: Step 4

Go and build all four of these. Again don't forget the two black hands.

Step 6: Step 5

Now connect the pieces you made in the last two steps. Make sure the parts with the y connectors are next to each other. Then add the eight parts you made in step two.

Step 7: Step 6

Build these pieces. There isn't really anything hard about these.

Step 8: Step 7

Connect the parts from the last step. Then add the eight yellow rods you got in step three.

Step 9: Step 8

Build this little guy. Then add the one side of the star to it.

Step 10: Step 9

Add the other side of the star to the little guy. Then clip up the gray clips like so.

Step 11: You're Done.

You're done.

Now just slide it over your tree like so. The top of the tree slides through the hole in the middle of the star. If you want, you can add lights inside, but I like it without them.
