Things you will need:
-$1 metal water bottle
-hack saw
-metal drill bit and drill
-sharpie
-heet or 90% alcohol
-jb weld or aluminum tape
-sandpaper(optional)

This is a metal stove and it onle take about 20 minutes to make. It is great for backpacking, camping, survival, and anyday use. I made mine and it works great for boiling water for hot cocoa. I will add a video of it in action soon.

Now you have to draw line on the botttom and top of the bottle like in the picture below. Also remember to have them both be the same height.

90% rubbing alcohol is cheaper than heat and burns alot cleaner.

Does the flame come out the sides or in the middle? A pic of this with flames might be good to show. I hope you don't have it lit with the plastic lid inside like you have in the last pic.

I would assume the last pic is of the stove packed and ready for hiking. Also, I'm assuming this is a simplified version of the "Aluminum Bottle Alcohol Stove." Camdog7d, am I correct in these assumptions?

Yes you are correct thank you for making comparisons because it gave me more ideas for my stove.

No the flame come out both the hole on the side and the middle of it but if you put a pot on top of it the flames will come out the side holes to heat the pot and thepicture of the plastic case inside is how I bring it with me for camping or backpacking.

Thanks for sharing this. I just made one like this but I have a problem that when I place the pot on the stove, the flame start to go down till it shut down completely. Do you have any idea what may cause this?

Sounds like your cutting off the air to the flame. You need to have a little space under the pot for the flame to get enough air.
