This is a tutorial to make a UTP cable .

Step 1: Materials

The materials are:

 • RJ-45 head (2).
 • UTP cable.
 • Network tester.
 • Cripping tools.
 • Cutter.
 • Cable protector.

Step 2: Cutter

Now we take the cutter and cut the cable.

Step 3: Standard

Now you use the standard that you need.

Step 4: RJ-45

We proceed to enter the cables in the rj45 head.

Step 5: Cripping Tools

With the cripping tools we crip the head.

Step 6: Tester

Finally we verify that it's all correct.

the critical part is crimping the RJ onto the cable ends.

But the pic is so bad that I can't see any detail !

1 out 10

Thanks for the Instructable Emills. I had to Google UTP to figure out what it meant but this was useful because I need to fix a few CAT5 cables where the little tabs are broken off the RJ45 connector. From the look of it, I guess the crimping tool is what makes this simple. Is that true?

Since the materials already include a "UTP cable" how is this making a UTP cable? .

I am pretty sure "cable" in this instance is just the CAT5 or CAT6 wire.
