How to Make Spicedrop Tree

How to Make Spicedrop Tree
My dad and his sisters used to make these little trees during the winter with just a few simple materials. They are very simple and a lot of fun to make so I hope you enjoy them!

Materials:
- A branch with long thorns. (I think the right species is called a water aciaca, or water thorn. I found my branches in my neighborhood, so they shouldn't be too hard to get.)

- Silver spray paint

-Fake snow or real shelled nuts. (Depending on whch type of tree you want to make)

-A small bucket or pot

-Red (or any other color really) cover paper

-Sand (you could see this at some sort of gardening store)

Step 1Starting the bucket

Starting the bucket
-Take the sand and pour it into the bucket, just enough so that it can support the branch.
-Tear a bit off the roll of cover paper and put the pot in the middle of the peice. Wrap the sides of the paper into the bucket and tape them so that they lay flat.

I really like this! Maybe I'll skip the painting step (and just clean the branch real good) so you can still eat the candy afterwards.

What a nice colourful tree, a forest of them would look really cool.
