Introduction: How to Make a Yarn Headband

About: VaanyaW is a person. She lives on earth. She likes stuff. She is nice.

This is one of the easiest things you can make with yarn, yet it looks so cute!

Here is one way to transform a drab headband from the craft store into something unique!

Step 1: Materials

You will need:

- Approx. 300cm of Super Bulky yarn

-White School Glue

-A small piece of cardboard

-Scissors

-A felt headband (Plastic would work too, but felt is easier)

Step 2: Gluing

Squeeze a small glob of glue on the inside of the headband, and spread with the cardboard.

Do the same for the outside.

Note: Do not spread the glue on the whole headband for efficiency.

Step 3: Starting

Once you have spread the glue, take one end of the yarn and tie a double knot on the end of the headband.

Step 4: Wrapping

Once it has been tied, just wrap the yarn around the headband.

Step 5: Repeat

When the first section of glue is wrapped, repeat steps 2-5 until you have reached the end, then squeeze a blob of glue and wrap yarn around it to finish.

Step 6: Drying

Leave for 30-45 min in a cool, dry place

All Done!
