Start off with a crispy (a crumpled one will work too) dollar bill.

Fold the dollar in half (not completely, though)(once again you can flip the bill over to do it). Leave a little space when you fold it in half.
It should now look like this:
Fold it in half ALL THE WAY this time. Make sure that you fold it in the same way as the other fold.
flip the bill over so you can see the ONE DOLLAR words.
Fold the left part up so you can only see E DOLLAR only.
GET THIS RIGHT: flip the bill so it looks like a backwards L.
flip the longest flap over and then make it look like this:
turn it over so DOLLAR is upside down.
Put your finger over the shorter flap and wrap the longer part around your finger until you have almost equal right angles.
Fold the part that is along your finger DIRECTLY toward your fingernail. ONE should be showing.
Take the ring off and find the flap.
Tuck the top part into the ring and hold it there [because it might fall apart :( ].
Now fold the whitish margin towards you.
