Picture of How to Make an Identity Disc Prop (Tron: Legacy)
It's not a perfect replica, but for people who don't want to buy the deluxe Light Disc or don't have access to milling or plastic casting, this is an easy way to make a Light Disc.

My version is not exactly how it is in the movie. It's smaller and the inner circles are supposed to connect. It is also supposed to be ~7cm thick. Mine is ~12cm.

Feel free to interpret the measurements.

My interpretation: 25cm diameter, 7cm thick, 7cm ring diameter.

I was limited in foamcore, so I made mine smaller.

Step 1: Materials

You will need:
-Pic of Lightdisc to copy (Google images)
-Cardboard or Foamcore
-A compass or something round
-Scissors or rasorblade
-Flour and Water

You have drive, and that is good, but for the love of all that is good and holy, please just print this off on some card stock, it is pepakura, but saved as a pdf, so you just have to cut and glue. A little superglue will go a long way. http://tektonten.blogspot.com/2013/02/tron-papercr...
I took the two halves of this, cut the outside ring off, and am currently fiber-glassing them on the inside. I am putting a hard sheet of clear plastic down the middle that I am going to use to make it light up. He also has a few in other colors. This is a good build, but with a few more tools in your toolbox you can go a lot further.

u dont like imperfect things yet you misspell your own name, good job C.L.U. (PS. thats how you spell C.L.U.)
Maybe you could paint on a layer of glow in the dark paint over the blue?
