Introduction: How to Make the Best Omelette
Ingredients needed on how to make an omelet
1/4 red pepper, 1/4 orange pepper, 1/4 green pepper, 1/4 small onion, Grated cheese to taste Hand full of baby spinach 1 tsp paprika, 1tbsp chili powder, 1 tbsp onion powder, 1tbsp garlic salt olive oil
Step 1: Prep Your Veggies
So make sure to cut 1/4 of a red, green, and orange bell peppers. Then cut 1/2 of a small onion now you want to finely dice all of these , with the spinach just give it a rough chop.
Step 2: Cook Your Veggies
Now grab a medium size skillet and put on medium high heat make sure to coat with some olive oil. Put all your veggies to cook for 5-7 mins all depends on how soft you want them. Once they are half way done add the seasonings.
Step 3: Sautee Your Mushrooms & Spinach
In a small saucepan add a little olive oil and sautee your mushrooms. You want them nice and soft and caramelized like the close up on the pic. Once done remove mushrooms add a little olive oil and saute your spinach all you want to do is wilt them (soften them ).
Step 4: Scramble Eggs and Cook
Once eggs are mixed well splash some milk in the eggs and add some butter to the pan you used for the spinach and you want to set the pan on med-low heat for a nice slow cook omelette.
Step 5: Add Fillings
Once the omelet looks about ready to turn add your spinach, mushrooms,& peppers don't forget the cheese ....no seriously don't forget the cheese.
Step 6: Flip and Plate the Omelet
Once your fillings are melted go ahead and flip once you flip it add a little cheese. Top with some of the peppers and serve with peppered home fries. ENJOY!!
