How to Open a Milk Carton

How to Open a Milk Carton
In many places around the world, milk comes in cartons. While talking to friends from countries where they get milk from bottles, I was surprised to find out that this is a skill that relatively few people possess. So I though, what better way to start my Instructable-making time than with this: How to Open a Milk Carton.

If you have any constructive criticism, please let me know through the comments. Thanks!

Step 1Preparation

Preparation
First of all, check the expiry date. We can't go around drinking expired milk, can we?
If the milk is non-homogenized, shake the carton to remove any globules of fat that may have formed. This may sound disgusting, but is actually quite normal.
Now, you just need to find out where to open the carton. There is often an arrow in the correct side, otherwise just take a chance.

I once bet a friend that I could open one of these with one hand. Easy really - Lay it down with the 'top' pointing at the victim, then suddenly bring your fist down, VERY HARD on the carton. He got soaked, but I won the bet and surprisingly he's still a friend. If you're considering this method, best to do it outside.

Thank you, I really have problems opening those ones at school. Yes, I don't really know how to open them this way. So thanks. :-)
