This is a quick tip about freezing ground beef in small portions. Take only the portion you need and put the rest back in the freezer for later use. You'll also save on freezing time, thawing time and space in your freezer.

<p>I like to brown a couple pounds of ground beef, drain, and repack in zipper bags. A quarter cup added to a serving of vegetables turns it into a main dish.</p>
<p>I use sandwich sized bags, they hold a pound of meat and stack nicely in the freezer.</p>
<p>What about an ice cube tray !</p>
