Types of Bettas
Bettas come in all colors and tail varieties. The types of betta tails are:
1) Veiltail (Image 1)
2) Crowntail (Image2)
3) Super Delta (Image 3)
4) Delta (Image 4)
5) Round (Image 5)
6) Plakat (Image 6)
7) Double (Image 7)
8) Halfmoon (Image 8)
9) Comb (Image 9)
10) Fantail (Image 10)
It's your choice to decide what type of tail you want on your betta, but personally I prefer the Crowntail and Halfmoon. The most common type you will find is the veiltail variety, which is often the cheapest.

I used to have veiltail betta, murphy, but he died and I buried him in a popsicle stick coffin.
