Introduction: How to Put Games on Your TI-84 Plus or TI-84 Plus Silver Edition

Many kids at school keep bugging me on how to do this so this is for you guys...and girls.

I figured this out by reading a lot on the Internet. I'm not some computer or calculator expert so I wont be able to answer your questions because I'm overwhelmed...and I might not know the answer.
So if someone sees a question in the comments and knows the answer please post it. Thanks.

Step 1: Things You Will Need

Everything you need is listed here:
-TI-84 Plus or TI-84 Plus Silver Edition
-USB Cord (The same kind thats on the PSP
-Software that will allow you to mannage data on your calc (this is the one I use and its great)
-Ion, which can be found Here (This will allow you to play the games)
-Games to download (Hereis a great place to get games)

Step 2: Download TI-Connect So You Can Mannage Data on Your Calculator

Go here to download TI-Connect so that you can mannage data on your Calculator.
This is the one I use and its great because you can backup your calculator.

Step 3: Download Ion

Go here to download Ion, which will allow you to play the games.
Open the file.
Extract all files.
Send the files to your calculator's RAM.
If you need help look at the pictures.

Step 4: Install and Archive Ion

After you downloaded Ion and put it on your calculator press the "PRGM" key and youll see the three programs, execute the first one and it should say "Ion installed."

After that press second and the the plus key then 2 then 7
then go over the three programs and press enter so that there is a star next to it. If there is a star next to it then it is archived. The good thing about the archive is that you have more space in your RAM and if your RAM is deleted your archive is not. This way if Ion gets erased just unarchive those three and re-install, then archve them again.

Step 5: Get Some Games

All that is left is to get some games for your calulator. Here is one of the best places to get games.
For instructional purposes I will show you how to put Tetris on your calculator.

Tetris can be found here.

Open the zip file and extract all files. Once that is done right click on the one that says tetris in lowercase letters and send to ti device. Make sure it is being sent to the archive memory. Press the program key and run prgmA. Tetris should be there, and is ready to play.
