Reuse an Extended-Reach (Disposable) BIC Lighter

There's not much to it, but this video demonstrates a trick I use to refill long-handled, disposable lighters. Depending on where you live, this might save $2-$4 over buying a new one and may even make you the hero at your next BBQ.

ive found if you just take off the valve you can just pour lighter fluid(or any other highly flammable liquids, nudge nudge wink wink:) back into the original casing, cheaper than buying a cigarette lighter.

Excellent work. I also have kept around my old extended-reach lighters after they ran out of fluid because their sparker was still a good solution to lighting my gas grill.

Thank you! I almost threw one of those away yesterday. I kept it just to have the sparker but now I will refill it.
