How to Run Homebrew on Wii - Play Backup Wii Games without Modchip

This guide will teach you how to easily run homebrew on Nintendo Wii, allowing you to copy and play Wii games without a modchip on any Wii, even the new System 4.0 update. This will allow you to play copied, backup, and import Wii games, DVD's, Gamecube games, and more on Wii without a mod chip!

This is the only Wii Homebrew Unlock Hack, an unlock hack which allows you to play copied and import Wii games, that does NOT Require you to own Zelda to use!

First, if you wish to copy or backup Wii games, you will need a method of copying them that can bypass the discs built-in copy protection. One of the easiest ways is to use software specially designed for copying video games and Wii games. There is a good overview of this at The Copy Wii Games Guide!

Next, to play the copied or backup games, import games, and DVD's on your Wii, you will need to "unlock" it using a soft mod. A soft mod works exactly like a modchip, but you DO NOT have to open your Wii and you will not void your warranty.
