Introduction: How to Scramble Hard Boiled Eggs Inside Their Shell

This is a short video I thought would be fitting for Easter weekend. It was inspired by this article, which I modified slightly to achieve the results seen in the above video.

Ordinarily I don't watch videos, everyone THINKS they are videographers but...... your pic intrigued me enough to watch yours and I must say it's well done. I have never liked the white part of the egg so I am absolutely going to try this

Good Luck? It is how I scramble my eggs? I shake them int eh shells then crack them right into the pan. One less dish to wash later.

NightHawkInLight (author)Mr. D.2013-03-29

That would definitely impress me to see

When you try to balance an egg on it's end. the yolk throws it off balance. When you shake it, it all mixes in the shell and then settles to the bottom and levels out and with a steady hand, will stand on end.

(BTW This is me, Dang site logged me in with FB before IDK why)

P.S. Another trick, if you shake it in the shell you can get it to stand on its end.

Whoa, man. This is awesome and cheap fun. Does it work every time?

Great work. What a world...

If done right, yeah. You can check to see if the egg has scrambled by holding it up to a light. An egg that has not been scrambled will let more light through that is slightly yellow, and a scrambled egg will let less light through with a red tint.

You can just hold the egg and shake it hard. Does the same thing.

Good luck
