Step 1: How to Sell on eBay (Auction Style)

I'm assuming you have already signed up on eBay .
If not, you will need to do that before being allowed to sell/bid on eBay.
Secondly, you will need something to sell! It can be almost anything, but makes sure it complies with eBay policies

Man! And I was going to sell my soul on E-Bay!!! You see the top two bidders are Lucifer_666 and I_am_Him_Alpha_Omega, that would be kind of disconcerting...

Nice work! This covers the listing procedure quite well. One thing I've recently discovered, Is its easier to sell your expensive items once you've earned a high star rating with excellent feed back. For those just starting out I would recommend to first list your inexpensive items. Once you've achieved that than start listing serious electronics and expensive goods. The biggest issue for me right now is the shipping and handling charges. There's so many things to take into account. The ebay calculator and the UPS site are utterly confusing. Any suggestions?

Glad you liked it!

You would insert images into Step 6 - where you write up the description for the product. I guess the difference between adding it in yourself and letting eBay add it in, is that there's sort of a slideshow effect eBay provides (where if you have multiple pictures, they become thumbnails and you can click on each one to enlarge it).

However you can even do that with some advanced HTML, but there's not really a need for it. I like just displaying pictures right in the product description, your HTML should look something like this:

<img src="http://www.whereveryourimageislocated.com">

That's how I got the jam jar there.
