Apple customers have a great opportunity to easily switch their carrier on iPhone 5S and 5c — but in the United States only. The three major mobile operators will work on your new smartphone model because it supports a larger range of radio spectrum than previous iPhones. Here is how U.S. customers can change their iPhone 5S / 5c carrier without unlocking or jailbreaking.

If you live in the U.S.A. and have either an iPhone 5S or an iPhone 5c you can easily switch carriers between T-Mobile, Verizon and AT&T. This instructable will help understand how this works and why your device can support the SIM card of the company it is locked to as well as some other SIMs.This method unfortunately won’t work for the cell phone carriers Sprint and Virgin.

Step 1: Are You Eligible?

You have to activate you device and data plan with the original carrier using a nano-sized SIM. Use only the SIMs created for Apple devices because their class identifier matters.
Hi ALL
!!! AT&t just had a database renew, this means AT&T doesn't
permit the access with their database for anyone cheap unlocks anymore, but
there is a site that does, you are able to have a look at ATTIPHONEUNLOCKING,
they are still in a position to unlock any AT&T stuff. You can check
their facebook page they have feedbacks back from 2012 and they are still the
best!!
There is a denial
of access for lots of cheap unlocks to the AT&T, Verizon, Sprint or
T-mobile data base, that produces most of the 3rd party unlocking sites
unable to unlock AT&T, Verizon, Sprint or T-mobile anymore. However,
there are still sites that will unlock it, Mobile Unlox is certainly one of
us, go learn more, it's the site I have now been using for 5 of my phones
after the database shut down.

Are you
experiencing any difficulty unlocking AT&T, Verizon, Sprint or T-mobile
phones? We have the best solution for you personally, Mobile Unlox, a website
dedicated to unlock all AT&T, Verizon, Sprint or T-mobile devices and
provide the best service to all our customer. You can also take a look at our
facebook for more information

Buddy-ES!!:), i saw many spam so i have to talk about you my experience, I know there are many unlock providers are scam on the net as im really informed about all the iphon sh^it, the greatest site with numerous facebook feedbacks between many unsuccesfull tries with other sites was MOBILEUNLOX.(com) they can permanently unlock almost any at&t phone included the newests in about 24hours(even on weekends.

is this unlocking solution still works?

http://www.iphoneosunlockguide.com/

i have an iphone that is locked by AT&T and want to use it in Namibia, how can i get it unlocked?

talking about unlock, we are mostly refering to unlocking the carrier lock, and if you have trouble unlocking your iphone, you can check out mobileunlox, its the site i have been using for a long time

Please don't use other peoples' pictures.
Ok, no problem:)
This is very inaccurate. Just because the phone supports frequencies used by other carriers does NOT mean you can can just swap SIM cards. The unlock code is still required regardless of the frequencies supported.
