Parents are well aware of the fact that knowing the exact location of their children can be the information of the ultimate importance. Because most parents are busy, they cannot be close to their children at all times, but ensuring proper protection is still essential. The standard parental control, which includes regular mobile phone calls, is inefficient, exhausting, and will only annoy your children.
But, because these days children are glued to their Android smartphones there exists an easier way to ensure effective control. All you have to do is install a special application on your child’s phone and enable sending of your kid’s phone data to the online account. Once you do that, you can just log into your account on the website and see where you child is at the moment and where he or she has been previously.
To install the application on the phone of your child, you will need physical access to the phone and follow the steps:
Using your computer (laptop, tablet, phone), go to the Hoverwatch.com website.
Click "Signup free."
Enter your email address and come up with a password. Click the "Create account" button.
In the opened online panel click the "Add Device" button.
In the "Android" bar, you will see a link to download the application and a link to the detailed instructions on how to install it.
Open the instructions and prepare your child’s phone for the installation following the provided steps.
Download and install the application on your kid’s phone and enter your email address and previously created password to your personal account at the end of the installation process.
From this moment, the phone will periodically determine its location (using GPS signal, detected Wi-Fi networks, and the location of cell towers). All the collected information will be displayed in the online panel on the Hoverwatch.com website. You can visit the website and see where your child is from any device that has access to the Internet – from the computer, tablet or even your phone.
In the online panel, you can see the "Settings" tab where you can specify how often the phone should determine its location and how often it has to send the data to the panel. In most cases, 10-20 minutes intervals are enough, but you can state any other interval that is most convenient for you.
You can also take a look at other functions of the application. In addition to tracking the location, it will send you the information about the phone calls, SMS, MMS, visited websites, contacts, and messages in social networks.
Now you can be confident that you know where your children are at any moment, who they interact with, and what they do.
