Sometimes you want to use a Mac, when you only know how to use a PC! Here's how to upload photos from a camera or IOS device.

Step 1: Take Some Photos!

Take some photos, it doesn't matter how many.

Step 2: Connect Camera

Connect your camera (or IOS device) to your Mac via USB.

Step 3: Open Photos

Open photos, then click on the 'Import all new photos' button.

Step 4: Check That They've Imported.

Check that all your photos and videos are imported fully, when they are, a message should pop up at the side of your screen.

Step 5: Where Are They?

They should now be stored in the Last Import album.

Step 6: Thanks

You didn't mention what OS (Operating System) version is on your Mac. I have a MacBook Pro with OS X 10.6.8. I went to a later OS version, but could not use my version of Quicken, so my options were to buy a new version of Quicken or go back to OS X 10.6.8. I went back.

My screen looks different than your photos, but your info is all correct. I just wanted to let others know that theirs may not look exactly like yours. It's all good info though. Good job.

Great tips! Thank you.
