This instructable teaches you how to add public servers to Minecraft Pocket Edition!

Step 1: Getting Started

First, open Minecraft and press play.

Step 2: Adding Something New

Press the new world button in the top right corner.

Step 3: +

Next, press the button that has the plus symbol on it.

Step 4: Loading Servers

After that, the add server menu should come up. In the first text box enter whatever you want to name the server you are joining. For example, you could call it "My Favorite Server". In the second text box, enter the ip address of the server you want to join. If you don't know any of the top of your head, in the next step i will show you my favorite server, or you can google "MCPE servers" and some should come up. Finally, in the third box add the port of the server. Most servers ports are the default, (19132).

Step 5: Much Example!

For the server i recommend, type all the information i did in the boxes above. Name it anything you want, make the ip address sg.lbsg.net, and leave the port at 19132. This server, (Lifeboat), has Survival Games, The Walls, Spleef, and Sky Wars.

Step 6: Logging In!

When you first join a server, it will ask you to register. If you have a common name, (such as Steve or DiamondMiner), it will ask you to enter your password because someone probably made the account before, and you won't know the password. So maybe change your name a little, for example I had to change my username thebutternerd into thebutternerd76.Try adding numbers or letters to make your username more unique. If you found a username that was not taken, it will ask you to do /register _. Where the underscore is enter your desired password. Whenever you join after that, just enter your password into the chat box and you will login. P.S. the method to register and login that I just showed you will work on most servers, but not all. When you join a server it will tell you what to do to register in the chat box or at signs in the servers hub/spawn.

Step 7: Help and Support!
