Step 7: A Video for Inspiration and some Glitter for Decoration!

DSC03874.JPG

Here is a video on How to apply Henna on Hand. It will really inspire you!

You can also decorate henna with glitter. Glitter cones are available in different colors. When you are going somewhere, apply glitter one hour earlier and let it dry completely as it takes longer time to dry. Then keep your hands away from the water as it is water-soluble so not to ruin your work!

Can I use my self hand to do picture on it, or it'll be very difficult? PS: I have not practice in drawing before
creativegirlz (author) says: Jul 18, 2010. 10:15 AM
definitely you can do it on your own hand. in video, i applied henna on my own hand! no problem if you dont draw. Its all about practice.
amdivoff says: Jul 8, 2010. 9:05 PM
any place online where i can purchase some? i would love to do some on my wife :)
sed003 says: Jul 3, 2010. 8:17 AM
how do you know if the henna will turn out red or dark brown when you are done? I have seen one on an arm that was dark brown instead of red like in your video.
IndigoRaven says: Jul 8, 2010. 4:08 PM
Please be careful what you buy or use. Henna is from a plant and it doesn't naturally dye you black. Black "henna" is usually made with hair dye, and this is very bad to have on your skin. Some unscrupulous henna artists still use it, so be careful and avoid the black. I think the deep orangey brown of natural henna is quite beautiful any way.
creativegirlz (author) says: Jul 3, 2010. 11:18 PM
You better have to ask the shopkeeper, they know about it all!
theXmaker says: Jul 3, 2010. 12:33 PM
It depends on its color; you can find 3 colors: Red, Black, and brown.. be sure of what you're gonna buy
Muslimama says: Jul 2, 2010. 10:09 PM
That is beautiful! You are very talented. I would love to be able to do this!
