How to become whole

How to become whole
Hello everyone, I know some people may not like this. But I thought I might share Christianity. I want you to know this can be for anyone. Because the God I know, accepts all of us. If you would like to read on I feel like this will help a lot of people.

(Add on - I don't want to sound harsh, but the comments below mean nothing to me. I didn't like an i'ble I saw before. I tried to fight it, but people told me if I didn't like it I didn't have to look at it. This I'ble is for the people that want to read it. For the people leaving rude comments, that isn't going to solve anything.)

Step 1God loves us all, and theres proof

God loves us all, and theres proof
If you have decided to read onto this step, thank you. The first thing I want you to know is that God loves everyone. We can all become part of the family of God, and he is your father in heaven. All this is given to us, through Gods own son, Jesus Christ. A lot of people don't know who Jesus Christ is, a lot have heard the name but stopped there. A lot have never even heard his name before. Please go onto the next step.

If you know people are not going to like it, then why post it? And what is the point of this I'ble? (retorical!).
I respect your opinion or belief, but I think there are better sites to vent these ideas.
Let's keep the The Instructables site to what it is: a bunch of people sharing earthly ideas!
No offense ment!

Nuff said.
I agree with most comments (and even I posted the first one below), but the guy is 15 and it's his first I'ble. Give him a break, cause this discussion will lead nowhere. I think he gets the point by now.

flagged as inappropriate, as stated above quite a few times.  this is NOT instructing anyone.  it is preaching.  It does not belong on a site like this.  If you want to place it someplace put it on a site of philosophy, but these instructions are flawed.  I actually used to follow  these, and found them beyond lacking.

I have had to rewrite this quite a few times to fit under the "be nice" comment policy.  So i am sorry if it comes off a little terse.

You said there was proof that God loves everyone in Step 1.  However, I saw no proof.

If you're referring us to the bible for proof, then you might want to take a second look yourself...  what about the 90,000 Midianites, the 70,000 men killed because King David took a census, or the 100,000 Syrians because they said "he is not God of the valleys", don't forget the 1,000,000 Ethiopians killed by God and Asa's army, and my personal favorite, 42 children mauled by bears because they called Elisha bald.

So did God love these people so much, he just wanted them closer?

Go proselytize somewhere else.  Religion poisons everything.

seriosly tho. this isnt the place to be preaching religion..

Could you provide an instructable with scientifically accurate foundations?

Can any Christian?

I don't take offense to this (I rarely take offense to any religious things)

But remember where you are..

This is a site that tells people how to make something. Not to lead people into an organised religion. There are plenty of god loving forums for that.

So please remove this.

Also this sentence made me laugh so hard it's copied straight out of your "ible":

Thats the importance of the bible, is that sometimes they will give you a free one.

I read this ible and since I'm an atheist I don't believe in God but this is what I remember from your ible:

- we're all evil and sin all the time
- jesus died for us
- and the important thing to know about the bible is that sometimes they will give you a free one.

Everyone is free to do and believe what they want to but let's leave the choice to that person okay?

This really isn't an instructable because your steps just describe what your beliefs are.  They don't detail 'how to do something'.  They aren't INSTRUCTING us to do anything except to believe in your beliefs (and they really don't even do that).

This isn't the place to preach your beliefs...there are countless forums and other venues for this particular purpose (craigslist comes to mind).

I agree with bertus52x11.  Again, it's important to respect varying beliefs, but there are other forums for this.  Even a change of title and content to "How to follow Christianity" might better suit the instructables format; as it is this seems like an instant target for vitriol.
