Measure out about 2 feet of nylon rope and pass it through the back of the rear speaker. Depending on which pocket you want to keep the amp in, hold the rear speaker against your upper back with the terminals pointing in that direction. keep this orientation in mind. You want the rope to enter on the front of the speaker, entering from the part of the screw hole that touches your shirt, and reaching towards the screw hole on the other side of your back, then exiting towards your shirt again. You should be able to hold up the speaker by holding both ends of the string. It shouldn't feel too heavy. If it does, push it up higher, and hold it there.

Now, take it off, making sure to keep the string in. I find that it helps to just pick up the rear speaker by the magnet, this way the strings are unaffected, even with a completed setup. Now, take the two smaller speakers and tie one onto each end of the string by the screw hole farthest from the solder tabs. Lift it up by the rear magnet now, and slide it on. You may need to shorten the strings a bit, but once you have it like you want it, use a lighter to melt the nylon into a plastic bubble right after the knot. This way they will never loosen.
Every person's torso height, shoulder width, and overall physique is different, so it may take a bit to get it balanced well. You want the two front speakers to hang off the back one about an inch and a half from where you want them to sit in the final product. if this makes no sense to you, just hang them so that the top edge passes the top of your neck, but barely.

Once you have the speakers balanced, you need to solder the wires together. Solder the + terminal of one of the smaller speakers to the - of the other using a piece of wire. Run the wire along the same path as the nylon, so that the speaker wire provides additional balance, provides a second contact point between the large speaker and the smaller ones, and raises the smaller speakers to the desired levels. Keep them balanced... After this it will be hard to adjust without desoldering.

Now solder a standard piece of speaker wire to the rear speaker, then shorten the wire so it reaches the bottom of your pocket and tin the leads. Now get a longer piece of wire, tin the leads on both sides, then run it between the + and - leads of the rear speaker, like threading a needle. Now bring it sort of into the rear speaker so that when split, the wire will have a piece of the speaker's basket between them, so that it will be more stable. now run each end of the split wires through the screw holes on either side, making sure to observe the polarity you left open on each speaker. solder the new wires to the speakers.

So, now you should have one large rear speaker with 2 sets of speaker wire running through it, connected through it's screw holes to 2 different points on the 2 smaller speakers. Assuming you have tested them by this point, they should all run on only 2 stereo channels, and should be around 8 ohms per channel. (a 4 ohm 6x9 is actually better, but harder on the batteries.) Oh, and it sounds loud to you alright, but your ears don't lie like they do with headphones... It really is that loud. Oh, and you don't need to worry about boxes at all. Because the basket is touching you, you get ALL the bass injected directly into your chest cavity.
