Picture of How to chain knit with your fingers
This is an instructable will show you how to chain knit with your fingers. Its very easy to learn and its fast. I made a 15 foot chain in 45 minutes.

Step 1: The first knot

Frist, tie an overhand knot at one end of the yarn. The hole should be big enough to fit over your finger but not to big.

Step 2: Start wraping

Next, slide the loop you've just made over your little finger. Wined the yarn over your ring finger and around. do the same for the rest of your fingers ending on your index. Repeat this starting with your index finger and ending with your little.

Step 3: Pulling over

Next, pull the bottom loop of your index finger over the top and off. Do the same for the rest of them. keep your fingers close to gether so the chain is tight.

Step 4: Repeat

Repeat step 3 untill desierd lengh. Once it gets to your wrist pull lightly to tighten.

Step 5: Binding off

To bind off take the loop from your little finger and put on your ring finger. Now take the loops on your ring finger and put them on your middle finger. Do the same for your middle and index fingers. now, take the loops off your finger, put the end of the yarn in the loop. take the loop and tie a overhand knot to finish it.

Step 6: Finish

when your done pull the chai to tighten one last time

theres a SUPER easier way. you do it on the back of your hand and its alot less complex
