How to change the button colors for the Guitar Hero Controller.

Well, att first I wanted to change the colors of the buttons on the controller around to confuse my friends, and I didn't know how. Then this is how this instructable was made. I decided to make my controller buttons rainbow colored. This instructable will in no way damage the guitar, it just changes the colors up. The buttons will not change the game either, all the buttons will stay the same. (Green, red, yellow, blue, orange.)

Items needed: Screwdriver.
Common sense. Don't be an idiot and break your controller.
Eggs.
Milk.
Wait, don't get those last 2 items.. wrong list.

LET'S START.

Step 1 Opening the guitar.

Unscrew the back of the controller.

Then after you unscrew it, go on to the next step.

I did this with my Guitar Hero 3 Controller, and my family is looking at me with very confused looks *laughs* Very nice! Any other patterns you could suggest? I'm not very smart when it comes to creating stuff on my own *laughs* Very nice instructable though!

get several controllers and make each one full of the same color my friend and i have 5 guitars in total and thats what we are going to do lol, will be AWSOME

this will probably only confuse beginner players that have to look down, just like rearranging the keys on a keyboard wont mess up a typist. wonderful Instructable A++

Yep. Never saw it before, opened up the controller, looked around, saw this. So I decided to do this. :-)

This is pretty cool. You should put solo buttons on it with a costum paint job to match your pick guard.

Because this could save you money. Spray paint would be kind of cheap too but I wouldn't want to keep on spraying it all the time..

Cards? I don't know what you mean by that, but they are plastic buttons. If you look on the step where you change them around, you can see the electric board where the buttons press the buttons connected to the button board. Confusing? Then look at the instructable. I hope you liked it!
