Introduction: How to Connect Your PS3 Controller to Your Computer

If you want to connect your PS3 controller to your PC and play games with it, this is the guide for you

first thing you should have is an internet connection

and obviously a ps3 controller and a computer.

Step 1: Downloading the Program to Your Computer

For the ps3 controller to be connected to your computer and actually use it, you need to download a program on your computer

its called DS3 Tool

its pretty easy to do everything by yourself from here since theres also a tutorial and everything, so ill just write the main things you have to do

go down a little and when you find the downloads, download the latest version, or any other version you want

then click on "follow the instructions"

Step 2: Installing the Program and Setting Up the PS3 Controller

Then depending on the version you downloaded, click on its version number from the list

ill suppose you downloaded the latest version, so:

Click on "Latest version"

then simply start doing what the tutorial says, but skip the first point because you already did it, which is actually downloading the program to your computer

install it and then setup your ps3 controller with it

Step 3: When You're Done

After you've installed the program and set up your ps3 controller, its time to actually make it work with the game you wanna play using the ps3 controller

so simply open the game and then go to its control settings, and change each control, to the ps3 controller

for example

in a game where "jump" is done using the SPACE BAR on the keyboard, you can change it to be the X button on the ps3 controller, and so on
